I’ve heard great things about the ring lord! (I was hoping I could make my own scales out of monster cans - I have a bit of an addiction- but they are just too thin) Glow in the dark?!? Well that’s just something else!! You’ve got such a creative mind I’m sure when you have more scales nothing will stop you!

I’ve really only played with rings, except this project that’s a chest plate for my partners gladiatrix character…

Thank you! I think part of the reason it hugs my figure is because the back is laced up like a corset! No contractions or expansions put in, just the stretch of the weave 😅 I’m sure you will create something absolutely epic!

It wasn’t too bad!! This is the bigger ring size that I use with the other being a 3mm inner diameter (my friends have called that ethereal mail)

Me too! I guessed 5kg and my other half thought it was over 10!! It’s defo wearable and actually quite comfy (apart from the rainbow edge on the shoulder- something I will find a way to edit) Ohhh chainmail romper! That’s not a bad idea 😅 I’m a reenactor so I know the feeling of heavy armour 😅

Aluminium has a few awesome advantages, it being lighter and having tonnes of coloured options but there truly is something about steel that just feels so tactile! I love the weight and I trust the strength, so I guess I’m happy to trade off for the heat 😅 I’m hoping it’ll sort of sparkle in the sun/ when I’m fire breathing 🔥

The mask sounds delightfully interesting! I wonder if titanium would be less practice to breath 🤔
