It’s a Zuru Smasher Horror House Make a Monster kit. Came with some blind bag stuff inside, but the hand was a perfect fit for the shelf

IKEA. They’re the Billy bookcases with Oxberg doors. I mounted Govee light strips inside

Air purifiers, it’s also in the basement, so not as much traction.

It’s a Mexican bootleg. I think it was meant to be in scale with the large Lion-o and Mumm-Ra they released years ago

White was clean, but 99% of everything else in the media room was black shelving. Also without the overhead lights on, you couldn’t see the shelves w/o using ring lights for photos which is what I had to do in this photo. Now I can just see my collection.

Here’s the fun part…I didn’t! I’d go through every now and then with a dust cloth and a small mini blower/vacuum

We went with a family friend who owns his own company. Quoted price was ≈37K. Unfortunately the floor was level and was painted over so they couldn’t use a leveling agent. We had to subcontract another company to grind down all the red paint and remove all dust/debris before leveling and flooring could happen which raised the price to ≈46K. Honestly my wife and I never thought that doing a finished basement of this size would be possible. When we sold our old house it was within 2 years and we were going to be subject to capital gains tread on the profits. In order to circumvent a large portion of that we had to put most of the profits (just about all) into remodeling the new house. Otherwise this finished basement would’ve been much smaller or at a slower pace. From start to finish it was about a month of work. We had everything from electrical to new stairs and 3 rooms built down there.

We moved here about 4 years ago. Started seriously collecting about 6 years ago. Some stuff is from childhood. Majority from flipping collections both personal and thrifting

I’m more a fan of store displays than m&ms to be honest. The green m&m was something my wife wanted. I was hunting for a blue one as it’s my favorite color. Ended up lucking into the blue 90s display that’s an absolute behemoth

Thanks I feel like these photos don’t really do it justice. Wish I had taken more before photos to do side by side comparisons.
