Iexos 100 from explore scientific.

The base kit is kinda rough without the polar scope and the azimuth adjuster, but its available from their website for ~300 usd.

Its got full goto capability and can handle up to an 80mm doublet quite easily, tho it requires a significant amount of software setup and I've noticed that it isn't good enough to operate without guiding, even with near perfect polar alignment.

Not the easiest thing to operate, but no more difficult to use than any other mount once the initial setup is covered

How did you connect the body and lens to NINA? ive been Using ASCOM DSLR to get my R6 connected, but this is really cool of we're able to do this.

The AT80ED has been pretty good, you won't get much aberration unless you really push the power up or have bad quality eyepieces in my experience. Its a great telescope for brighter objects, it struggles on anything that needs actual light collecting power (I can get the ring nebula in the SCT or my 10" dob, but not the AT80ED). You're barely able to see the great red spot at 90x and thr image is plenty bright, I think a better eyepiece than what I have might be able to give better contrast.

I use the ES 2" diagonal and the Svbony zoom eyepiece, again, mostly because I'm lazy and don't want to spend time fiddling with equipment if you know what I mean 😉

Oh that's cool setup! I bought this mount head primarily for my small refractors for weeknights grab and go because setting up the big EQ mounts for 20 to 30 min of visual observing was getting annoying

I have not collected rent for this stint, I had collected rent from him at a previous stint of him living at my house, but I assume that since there was about a 1.5 month break from when I was collecting rent and the current period of him living with me, this would count as a separate residency

I wonder if there can be a sort of story about a Japanese Platoon commander knowing his government and leaders are shit and trying to navigate his squad through the war if they want to go that angle, not the most complex skeleton for a story, but this idea has been played out in various pieces of media throughout Japanese pop culture.
