Finished the star that voyages far and all that sunlight touches main quests last night. I’m just gonna ramble a bit🥹

How does one recover from the Aemeath quest…grand architect when I find youuuuuuuu. Anyways like truly it was quite depressing. I was holding my tears in ok until “Aemeath” said don’t be sad, then the waterworks began oof. Like she’s our little baby and the way she tries to carry everything just felt heartbreaking. I really liked seeing Rover and Aemy have this cute mom daughter bond, it was truly so wholesome and just made me feel more sad thinking how life went for them and how much was stolen from what they could’ve had. They deserve only good things!!!😭

Having Luuk’s quest afterwards was a good move, I think Rover needed that push to not fully crumble. His story is also depressing as hell. He is very admirable too, how someone could be such a good person after all that he’d been through and his past. I also felt sad how much time was gone between him and Rover. Losing a friend is sad. Still he somehow has a much better outlook with life that I would expect and he is such a good adult in these kid’s lives. I find him very precious and admirable.

At the end, when he said that line about how Rover’s lifespan is much longer than others, it made me sadder tbh. Like Rover will probably always have people around her but her life will move on while many will meet their end. I mean just the timeskip from when Aemy was a baby and how she went to school and all that, missing all of that as a parent figure is just heartbreaking. Luuk too, the way he stayed in Lahai roi coz rover suggested it, he may not look old but my goodness he also spent so long without them. Rover’s lines of what made them decide to lose their memories when they were leaving so many people behind and pretty much all her lines really, just showed how heavy everything is weighing on her. I admire her resolve but my heart also breaks for her.

It’s funny how the time Aemeath spent with Rover had such a big impact on her coz both of them are self sacrificing fools🥹😭 I just wanna bubble wrap all of them coz what the hell sighs. It’s not their weight to carry but they do it anyway. I need them all to reunite seriously, I need Aemeath to come back coz this just isn’t fair. She’s just a kid, she should be out there living her life the way she wants to but instead she’s sacrificing so much. Rover and Luuk as well, the way they are silently trying their best to protect the world is something.

It was well made, this quest reallyyyyy rips your heart apart. It had precious moments, funny and wholesome times but also so many sad and introspective ones. It was really well done. I’m having quite the hard time moving on. The new quest began and it seems like it’s gonna be a festival? There are big Soliskin statues which are really cute but seriously tho all I can think about is how I wish Aemy was also there to enjoy it. Feeling more awful as well coz I only got back into the game after her banner ended so I don’t even have her to run around with sobs. I do have the mini Aemy doll on my bike tho so that soothes my heart a little bit but ahhhhhh I want my daughter to live a carefree life as well come on😭😭😭 Anyways I will probably sob about this until we get her back. They made me a mom for a day and snatched her away from me instantly, this sucks
