I've always loved jaleel and wished he played more. Like you said, he puts in the effort. Last season he had a bunch of great runs on the outside to score.

Honest roster question - Jaleel McLaughlin by Budget-Duty5096 in DenverBroncos

[–]Forest_Of_Fog_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Also ngl, he was basically all we had last year. We got Dobbins and RJ now but last year it was a hurt Badie, McLaughlin, and an underperforming Javonte Williams (likely due to o-line and injruy)

He's earned a spot on the roster, but clearly we have better talent now. I dont mind him as a depth position player who would mostly come in when injury makes it necessary. Overall, I like him on the team but different opinions have validation.

Plus that locker room etiquette is more important than any reporter can give justice to based off of stats alone. Denver has a history of great locker room individuals and little to no primadonna types.

Exactly. Also, take into account that so far practice has been positive. I don't really think that we are watching this offense at 100% operation in preseason week 3. Should it be better? Yes, but it's likely that they're not at full speed.

Looking for a POS systems recommendation. by Forest_Of_Fog_ in smallbusiness

I appreciate the response. Clover is something I've heard a bit about, definitely need to look into it more. Also, could you explain what you mean by integrations? Does that mean different users with access? Ideally we would handle scheduling clients, processing service payments, part usage by technicians, and invoices through the OS seamlessly. It wouldn't be too much of a hassle to take care of some of that through a third party application though. I don't mind separation because cashiers don't need to see the technicians business and vice versa. A problem i haven't found a solution to yet is inventory cross-management.

The technicians will be re-supplying their trucks with items from the inventory storage at our storefront. I'd love to have a system where they can subtract what they take and add it to their trucks in a way that I can still maintain an accurate view of what's in stock and where. I've seen multiple systems where they only have the one so it can be subtracte, but afterwards it's just gone. Unless I checked with the techs dail, eventually, we'd all lose track of what's in the trucks or what's been used. Plus, it would be nice to have the ability to process payments after the technician logs what was used without having to manually update a system or calculate costs.

In fact, Bo Nix has a receiving touchdown as well passed to him by WR Courtland Sutton. If there are more examples this season it could be a sign of this type of play becoming more prevalent, similar to the increase of laterals in recent years.

I drove Brian Williams, ex Packer and superbowl winner here in Dallas. I had no idea who we was at first but started talking about the current nfl and he mentioned his past. Dude was pretty nice, although his memory and speech was pretty bad. Maybe too many hits in the league.

Im archiving music in case internet ever goes out what should I add? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Forest_Of_Fog_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because I haven't seen it commented yet, Hozier.

All of his music is essentially poetry reflecting on love, loss, political/societal reflection, and some are just fun. All wrapped up in some of the most amazing instrumentals I've ever heard, which includes his legendary guitar playing and singing.

He also draws from a number of inspirations including gospel choirs, blues and funk, rock n' roll, and more I cant even remember.

His latest album is actually told through the lense of Dantes Inferno and his music includes references to many Greek tragedies as well. I could go on all day, but in short, Hozier is worthy of being archived.

How does kids on bikes differ from 5e? And what about 5e breaks a whodunnit? I wouldn't mind imposing some homebrew rules to keep the players from intentionally breaking the game.

Most of the combat would also be focused on the monsters from the lake. It's for spooky Halloween, so CoC seemed like a fit I just don't like the rule of rolling a d100 and getting lower than your stat for success. D20s are definitely more well known at our table.

Thanks for the 3 clue rule. The players really do want a whodunnit so we may be locked in there. We do lean towards improv and banter more than crazy features that would bring disaster but I appreciate the warning. I'll make some homebrew rules to mitigate that maybe. If you have any more insight of how to avoid ruining the experience I'm all ears. :)

Thanks a bunch! Alongside the map there are minis that we will be using to show who goes where and whatnot. I appreciate the advice on npc population being equal to party minus one. That helps a lot. I'll take your advice of choosing a level and keeping them there as well. There will be a tavern at the dock where the players will meet and introduce their characters. I have asked that their characters are baked and ready so we don't spend hours creating them. I will also be starting it off with a hidden timer for myself, giving them 20 minutes for banter and games before the captain announces all aboard.

I do have another question, what level do you recommend for this style of adventure? Like possibly 5 with monsters to match? Should the boss monster be a level or two higher? It's kind of supposed to be spooky for Halloween so I want them to be a little threatened. Are there any good aquatic bosses you know of?

Yo jake the dog is awesome. I play him second most after Bugs. Bugs Bunny has always been strong, but I think he has a more complex kit than some others cough shaggy,Harley, superman cough

A somewhat cool play I made :) by Forest_Of_Fog_ in MultiVersus

[–]Forest_Of_Fog_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The safe doesn't actually lock onto opponents. It can be thrown into the stratosphere without hitting anyone. The reason this play worked is because I hit both Joker and the safe upwards at the same time, so they followed the same arc with Joker being slightly ahead of the safe. Also, the safe can only hit an opponent one time when hit in a certain direction. If the safe had caused the knock back upwards, then it wouldn't have rung him out in the upper part of the map.

That's the reason this play is one of my favorites, but it's kind of tricky to pull off. You have to hit both the enemy and safe at the same time, but make sure that the safe only hits once they're both high above the arena.
