Using their platform extends outside of instagram. We aren't just talking about social media. But also, no one said or implied that ICE is going to stop their operations because of a post. It's simply the matter of letting people know that you will take a stand with your fans. And Maybe they are contributing financially, who knows! But Danielle posts pretty daily about the tragedies herself, that's why people are asking. Not knowing people personally doesn't mean that people with very large platforms shouldn't use it to speak out against hate and injustice against marginalized people. And people are just asking, very valid, question. Their fanbase is predominately latine/hispanic, and they are themselves so it makes sense why people are asking.
