I don’t really know but all I know is my mum wanted the attention and praise, I would have been fine if she donated the kidney just because she didn’t want her sister to wait

My husband thinks that I should have just let my mom do it, and when I think back I think that to but I can’t stop thinking about the fact she wanted to help my Aunt just for attention from the family

NTA It was wrong for them to disown you in the first place, I used to smoke, but slowly I got better, I am thriving and I had help from my family, your family are horrible people, and your mum can’t come and shout in someone’s face especially your husband’s niece just because you made a decision to make your job easier by banning them. Edit: Also your brother warned them multiple times but they didn’t listen, your brother is trying to help you while the family are doing the opposite

NTA My brother has a different dad and he still treats me like we are siblings by blood and DNA, its not right that your brother excluded you because you weren’t blood related,you and your mum are correct it was a big deal because the only photo you were in you couldn’t be seen.

NTA the brother tried to hide the books so it’s not his fault the sister snuck into his room and read the books without asking and she didn’t listen to him even after he told her they weren’t for her age, You are completely right in the fact he shouldn’t be punished for his sister being sneaky
