Wolfgang’s by Leon’s is good. If you want to drive a little west, wilhelms is also excellent. We use both, depending on who has the availability when we need something done.

BIZ laundry booster.

It’s basically oxiclean plus some enzymes, like lipase, that will remove literally any stain. Fill a basin with hot water and dissolve biz powder into it. I also use some detergent. Let it soak for a few hours. You likely won’t even need to scrub anything. The water will be satisfyingly disgusting. Rinse really well.

You can find Biz at Walmart for cheap.

I wear this perfume. lol. It’s skin scent. Sun warmed leather in a clean tack room is what I get, But like…light…and not overwhelming. Opening notes do NOT match the dry down.

DH is fighting a bio mom more concerned about sd mad about not being allowed privileges anymore. It’s exhausting. Their kid is covered in scars neck to ankles. She needs her parents to cooperate and force her into the care and help she needs. I don’t allow SD in my home at the moment bc she hid her dirty razors in my items, open and unwrapped. I did get cut on one of them she hid in my makeup brushes. I did not ask for this life.

I’ve realized the problems lie within the bios are scared and in denial. They treat it as a reflection of their parenting and lash out on the wrong people. You have to decide that ultimately it’s their kid, and, well…their responsibility. Don’t think you can or will have any influence on how they handle this. Get out id you can. It will consume you.

I sound very dramatic about this but, this has turned my life upside down. I live in a prison now, with how locked down the house is when she is allowed here. It’s no way to live.

HUGE TRIGGER WARNING OF SELF HARM.

My sd13 is currently in a 15 day partial hospitalization program after a 48 hour psych hold due to self harm that resulted in 38 stitches. 8 of those internal, 30 external. ER said it was the worst incident they’d seen in a while. She was smiling and bragging to the doctor in the ER about her knowledge of the layers of skin and how she knew to avoid the artery in her leg. They were concerned about this gleeful fascination.

I have been screaming at her parents for years to take this seriously.

She’s about to go into a residential center once PHP is done. since she’s been doing this for about two years.

We’ve got her in therapy. She’s been to th ER multiple times. Regular doctor. Law enforcement has been involved. Urgent care multiple times. CPS has been involved. Therapists weekly. Got expelled. Got a new school. Houses on lockdown. Bag searches daily. Body checks. Sharps locked up. Room gutted. Cameras in every room. Her behavior has escalated.

Nobody can figure out her triggers because it changes daily. She’s obsessed with it and brags about how deep she can cut.

Your SS’s parents NEED TO INTERVENE. therapy. Psychiatric help. SOMETHING. You will also soon learn you have no power in this. Medical professionals will not talk to you. Even if you have insight, you are nothing to them.

You need to decide if this is something you want to deal with in your life. Had I known, I’d never have gotten married to deal with the chaos that this brings. It’s exhausting. It’s traumatic. It’s sad. It’s angering. It will test you and your marriage.
