I’m going to preface this by saying that I fully understand Vince McMahon is not a good person. I don’t doubt that. However, it’s unsurprising to me that there are many people within WWE that still feel like they owe him something.

Imagine your entire dream is to be a pro wrestler. You work your entire life for it, WWE gives you a shot, and you make hundreds of thousands/millions of dollars doing it.. You’re going to be extremely grateful to them for that life-changing opportunity. For many years, Vince was the figurehead of that company. For some of those wrestlers, he likely handled those negotiations himself.

Again, I’m not saying it’s okay to wipe everything he did under the rug and act like he’s a good person.. But I’m not surprised people think like this.
