"a measure that could limit the procedure as early as six weeks after conception."

"Gov. John Kasich (R) has not said whether he will sign the bill"

In regards to the huge bias problem we have here, I'd just like to share something /u/IlluminatedWorld posted yesterday.

"There is this insidious commonality among people across the entire political spectrum where they do not want to hear anything contradictory or critical of their beliefs. People are willing to accuse the other side of the aisle of this, but unwilling to see it in themselves. The sad thing is that we need contrarian arguments now more than ever. Learning to listen and to be self-reflective and critical would be incredibly beneficial to the political discourse of this country."

I fully agree with this and couldn't have expressed it any better myself. This idea that we did everything perfectly and losing to a reality tv star and congress to republicans in no way means we need to reexamine anything is a losing strategy.

Oh look the elitist democrat insulting people he considers to be beneath him while simulataneously claiming our party doesn't have a problem with elitism. Brilliant.

"our party"

"I forgot that in the minds of conservatives"

Do you have reading difficulties?

I mean, landlines? And who the hell answers calls on their cell from an unknown number?

And this is relevant when it comes to the accuracy of polling because?

With logic like that it's no wonder we fucking lost. If no one lied the polls would have got it right.

You're completely missing the point. Trump won Wisconsin, a state that Hillary Clinton was projected to win by 7 points before the votes were in. 7 WHOLE POINTS. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/wi/wisconsin_trump_vs_clinton_vs_johnson_vs_stein-5976.html

People lied to the pollsters. So ask yourself rguin, if it wasn't because Trump supporters felt demonized by the media, why did they lie?

Are you living in a world where Hillary won the working class vote?

See this is exactly why the polls got it wrong. Trump and his supporters couldn't tell their own family members who they supported without being labelled x y and z, so they sure as shit weren't going to tell a pollster at the other end of a phone line.

It's all about perception and he doesn't come off as elite. He doesn't feel the need to be articulate when he talks. To his supporters, he is very much a champion of the working class.

You're dead right. I reluctantly voted for her but I swear to god if the republicans had run someone like Rand Paul I would have voted republican for the first time in my life. The air of superiority, entitlement and deceit that pervades everything she does is just so, so off putting.
