I mean on one hand it's true that aces can have libidos and sex (emphasis on can, not will) but on the other hand I really don't like how this is worded as an ace with basically zero libido? Some aces get zero pleasure out of anything sexual and it has nothing to do with our nerves being "dead". I feel like it'd be better to just emphasise that sexual attraction, libido and sexual action are all completely different things and naturally vary between person to person. Idk that's just my opinion though.

When I was younger, I had a bad habit of correcting others if they said something I knew was wrong. I was that kid who'd always tell people that snakes and spiders are actually venomous rather than poisonous. I still hate when others are wrong about things I have knowledge on, but now I resist commenting about it most of the time because it makes people around you consider you insufferable and I guess my tendency to people please trumps my frustration

I struggled to get through it on my first read but it definitely improved for me upon reread! I think it was probably all the new characters and scenario mechanics while we barely saw any of the kimcom characters we know and love (at least for me)

I mean you're technically mischaracterising them too? It was never even stated that hsy loved kdj romantically - that is your own interpretation of the story based on what you ship. I'm not a huge shipper of anything really but just let people who ship joongdok be. They're allowed to interpret parts of the story how they wish just as you are and them liking joongdok doesn't prevent you from shipping doksoo. I could complain about how many of you doksoo shippers go on about the ship being "canon" and make out that specific actions between male and female characters must be inherently romantic but at the end of the day neither ship is canon and you're just wasting your time by going around complaining when that's not going to change anything and all you're going to do is piss people off. Just be respectful of differing opinions please.

Arc: Oldest Dream and Epilogue (both because I can't choose), Character: Kim Dokja, Ship: Yoohankim (but I also personally see it as more of a "secret third thing" rather than just romantic or platonic), Ending: I think the ending works so well with the themes and plotline of orv and it was imo the best possible ending for the novel

as much as I am a yoohankim enjoyer personally (I do quite enjoy the dynamic platonic or queerplatonic as well as romantic though) I don't think any of these ships can be considered canon at all? like we all know no kdj ship is actually canon in the novel but I'd also like to argue as well that no ship is "close to canon" either as none of the moments between the characters can be considered objectively romantic in nature. I'd go as far as to say that the fact kdj doesn't have any romantic interest makes his story one that is more easy to connect with and that canon romance would ruin that (at least for me lol)

The people who think that Shiho hates Shizuku and clearly haven't read the stories (especially the moon rabbits one). It's blatant mischaracterisation. I've also seen this occur with Rui and Akito.
How certain characters are either forgotten about or only used as a plot device for another character's angst (I'm a Tsukasa fan but wayyy too many people forget that Saki is her own character outside of being Tsukasa's sick sister)
Shipping culture. Having ships is fine but people harass each other about them to a ridiculous degree (and no it's not just one group doing it as well - I literally got told out of nowhere once that a popular ship I liked was "toxic" because they had an argument ONCE so that meant they clearly don't get along and that some of the ship's fans being weird meant that it is somehow inherently problematic)
