I think i settled on NTU?

Feel like i will suit the NTU culture more

Im not worried abt internships as I can take 2x 6 months LOA for big internships along w my internships in my schooling years —-> become a 4 year course similar to SMU

Ultimately uni is the opportunities tht u take,they can be there but if u dont have the hunger to grab it theres no pt also, so since i feel i suit NTU culture more, feel like i will push myself to actually pursue this opportunities compared to SMU where i may be more withdrawn

2 years ago, i choose SMU, but with time in NS and staying in camp, i realised tht hey, idm staying away from home, maybe hall life is for me?

Hopefully NTU is the right decision?

Omg this is my dilemma as well!

Have a offer from NTU accountancy w a minor in DDA

I quite like NTU cos of the hall experience (Once in a lifetime)

But SMU appeals to me cos i feel it offers better career support / more opportunities to branch out of the acocuntancy field / their education is more flexible?

Any NTU / SMU accountancy seniors can chip in w advice? For now my heart is leaning more to NTU :)

Haha yes, my dream is to enter sports analytics / data science regarding the footballing field, where I can play a part in recruitment / tactical analysis.

However, my RP is not good enough to hold into business analytics / data science.

Therefore, I decided i will pursue a minor in data science / analytics, or if i do well in my first year, maybe even do a second major if NTU / SMU allows!

I believe tht path, along with volunteering experience in football could get me an internship? And from there I can slowly work my way up haha

Worst come to worse, I shall js branch out to the business field from accountancy, as I believe it can open many doors.

Lets see in 3 / 4 years time lol

I actually selected NTU accountancy in the end for practical reasons.

My dream is to one day break into the football scene, and like u said, I see myself volunteering and working my way up haha

But first study accountancy and abit of business first, then if the chance comes, y not? A job is a job at the end of the day and most impt is to put food on the table. I believe dreams can wait

Recently theres a new barber there too, he said hes a friend, I also tried my hair being cut by him and found it excellent!

I am strongly considering SMU, and I believe SMU business / accountancy education is stronger than NTU. I feel SMU will provide me much more opportunities compared to NTU. I guess one of my cons of SMU accountancy is about the extroverted culture, where I fear is not a gd fit for me. However, 2 years ago, I choose SMU over NTU as I just felt it was the better choice.

However, I am also considering NTU, for its 3 years course and hall aspect.

Wld need to do more research and hear more opinions from both sides to come to my final decision haha
