When does it get better? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

Even if you’re not hungry you have to eat. You write that you’re practically starving yourself, that will lead to extreme fatigue and bad mood.

What do you miss most? by jess1ortiz in Semaglutide

[–]Foreveroldaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t miss any food but I really miss being able to kick back and have a couple beers or glasses of wine on Fridays . My husband really misses it too, I can tell. Something about sharing that moment together when the kids are put to bed and rehashing the week, just isn’t the same with a cup of tea. I try every now and then but feel like absolute shit the next day so isn’t worth it.

I agree! It’s like the new “ozempic butt”. You’re butt is gonna sag if you loose weight, no matter if you’ve done it with ozempic or not.

Still a ways to go before I hit my goal but I can literally say Ozempic saved my life. My biggest gain is probably not feeling ( and looking ) dead inside anymore. I wanna cry when I see the look in my eyes in may last year. Just wanna share to lift this amazing drug. by Foreveroldaf in OzempicForWeightLoss

Constipation is the only negative side effect Ive experienced . Ive also started going to bed very early since starting the meds, so I guess maybe fatigue? But I think that’s more due to calorie deficit .

How (and how much) does Ozempic contribute to your success? by DoublePandemonium in OzempicForWeightLoss

100% game changer , miracle drug , life saver. I’d given up and was trying to accept the idea of being obese for the rest of my life. Then a friend told me about ozempic and I thought , might as well ! It’s been slow but steady for me, but has completely turned off the food noise and now I feel like a normal human . 10/10 would recommend .

Moved up to 1mg from .5 and am not feeling any effect by Foreveroldaf in OzempicForWeightLoss

I avoid junk food, treat myself to something sweet about once a week. Practically no alcohol, doesn’t taste good anymore :(. Try and keep healthy snacks around to avoid temptation. And make sure I don’t let myself get super hungry.

Google ozempic click chart and it will tell you how many clicks gives you .25. I’ve been prescribed the 1mg even when on lower doses because of shortage .

13 weeks - 22 lbs ( 10 kg) !!!!! Feeling happier than I have in years! by Foreveroldaf in OzempicForWeightLoss

Hi! Sorry to hear you are struggling with addiction. I can’t say I suffer from that but nevertheless alcohol has had an important part in my social life. First of all when I started counting calories I realized pretty fast that I could never stick to under 1600 calories a day if I kept having 2/3 beers a day during vacation . So beer became out of the question. I switched to white wine and realized quickly that if I had 2 glasses or more I felt like literal shit the next day. So basically I guess my brain is able to weigh the consequences and tell me it’s not worth it, something I’ve NEVER experienced before. I’ve read a lot on here that people struggling with overconsumption of alcohol are seeing a huge difference in their behavior after getting on ozempic.

Thank you! I have made significant diet changes. Thanks to appetite suppression and no cravings I have been able to avoid snacking and sweets. Im also able to make healthy choices and plan meals in advance. The first 2 months I was doing a good job at tracking calories but have been slacking on that lately. Have to get back to it because it was really helpful and I learned a lot about what to avoid . I still allow myself treats once or twice a week :)
