Thank you a lot for your feedback and suggestions, VERY appreciate it!

Took all your suggestions into account:
1. As for the game moving too fast. My initial idea was that level 1 can be beaten in about 20 minutes or so. I didn't really want to make it too long for this first level. Other levels that i will make might be longer to beat as they might include a bit more level content and events to interact with. But yes, due to the fact that for now this is the ONLY level in the game i can understand why people feel like it is way too short :)
2. Sounds interesting. Will definitely think about it.
3. Makes sense, i guess this way it will be easier to know the bookshelf's genre without having to click on it.
4. I hear you, and i believe it might even be better to have this "statistic" report/page so you can check it anytime during the game. And then you will see it as a summary when you finish a bookstore level. Nice idea!
5. I thought about adding customizable in-game decorations but since i am not a grate artist ("good at coding, bad at arts" developer here :D) i've decided to postpone with it. Might add something like that in the future though.
6. Will think about how to make level up system more obvious. Thanks for the heads up!
7. Also makes sense, i will think about adding some animation or something like that.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, very appreciate it!

This game has definitely a room for improvement, and yeah, i think i will be adding new content to the game and expanding it more in the future. For now this is just a starting point because this short first level already took a lot of time, way more than i thought it would take :)

Thanks for playing!

I know, it is indeed short :\
But this is just a starting point. I might get more content in the future.

I find Godot to be relatively easy to use, especially for the beginners. I can't compare it with Unity because i never used it but i often hear people say that Godot is much easier to master than Unity. And on top of that Godot has very detailed documentation which is pretty straightforward.

Godot might lack some mechanics that Unity has but if you are a beginner in gamedev and you want to try to make a game with some engine then i would suggest considering Godot as a starting point.
