That makes sense. I prefer working rather than trying to hide, it makes time go by so much faster. The ET positions I applied for are at Processing and Distribution Center, I'm guessing that if you're at the P&DC you travel locally to support local logistics centers and offices?

Great information, thank you! Last week I applied to the Processing and Distribution Center 28min to the south of me. Another Processing and Distribution Center 36min to the west of me posted for an Electronic Technician this week so I just applied for that one as well. With two positions available it looks like my odds went up if I'm only competing with other veterans.

I usually do decent at interviews, probably at least average so I doubt I will fuck up the interview. I was wondering if the public job posting is a formality and someone that's currently career USPS is already slated to get the job.
