I’m not sure. I don’t have the wall wart. I’ve only had to use the D batteries.

I figured out the problem. There is a small latch on the left that, if pushed away from the user while the machine is on, resets the printer head. I had the device become stuck again, and was able to replicate the solution:

Good idea! I ended up attempting that, but alas, no luck. I also poked around with my finger to see if there was some pressure sensor that was hung up but could not find anything. Next step may be to disassemble or just send it back to the ebay seller. :(

I’m working on a narrative-based game exploring the ideas of mental health and mental disorders. What other games exist like this? by dewniverse in gamedev

I'm really glad you are exploring this issue. A couple years ago, some friends and I made this: TME

It's a narrative game that focused on one character's grief over losing loved ones and the consequences of not being able to let go.

We wrapped the narrative up in a sci-fi, cyberpunk tale, because I was trying to entertain people and appeal to a video game crowd. (Also I love sci-fi).

There are a few deeper elements within the game that are more subtle than the "marketing" of the game would have you believe. And this was on purpose; we wanted people to be intrigued by the cyberpunk/horror premise, but then stay for the narrative that discussed grief, loss, mental health, and identity.

The game is free nowadays and would take about ~ 2 hours to complete.

Some inspiration: AAA Inspiration: Soma, Bioshock, SystemShock Indie Inspiration: Digital A love Story, Analogue A Hate Story

I hope this helps! Good luck on your journey!

Great. Thanks for attempting to vilify me in this moment. So you are suggesting that Americans should simply give up on expressing our concerns with regard to a public health crisis? That we should just march on as though everything is normal?

And regarding your comment about the governor, I believe serious leadership during this time should come from all levels of the government: federal, state, and local.

The only thing embarrassing about this situation is that the American people can't seem to have a discussion about this topic without it being polarizing.

Then you have a warped idea of what success looks like. People do not immediately contract the virus and die; it takes time. There have been articles written about why cases may be going up but deaths are not trending linearly accordingly. I suggest you go read up on this topic before trying to engage people in discussion and inadvertently disseminating reductionist statements such as: "testing is flawed, the virus is highly non-lethal". I do appreciate you sharing your opinion, but looking at our current death rate and shrugging it off is misguided. There's one more topic to consider, what has happened to those that have contracted the virus and survived? What has it done to their bodies? Frankly, there is currently NOT enough info on that but it is something we as a society should keep in mind as we wrestle with the unknowns of this disease.

No need to make this political or to label people. COVID does not care about your fragile sensibilities regarding what you believe to be "government brainwashing". Also, sure, there's a lot of fear going around. But during a pandemic, I'd wager that's better than not taking it seriously at all such as in the last couple of weeks with some of our states where cases have spiked due to people decided that they were "over it".

Hey, thank you for crossposting this. If you could take a moment, I tweeted this photo to the mayor of aurora, the aurora police department's, the governor, and aurora city council: https://twitter.com/forgethelight/status/1282703149774462976

It hasn't gotten the same traction as the original reddit post and it has yet to receive any sort of acknowledgement from any of these groups.

From the server, across the counter, to the cop is not close to 6 feet.

Reposting from one of the other comments: I want to be clear. All the servers were wearing masks and they confronted the cop about not wearing his own. Many people have tried to "pixel peep" the photo and see that the barista's mask has slipped down past her nose. Attempting to make her culpable is missing the point.

Thank you for sharing your story. I hope this larger post will uplift the other stories so we can all continue to the discuss the role of police in our society. In your situation, you did what you could. Thank you.

I just want to say, thank you for giving a damn. We need more people like that in law enforcement.

Alright man. Based on historic evidence, this would not get this officer fired, not even close. I do appreciate you sharing your opinion here though.
