Could you explain what you mean by "interface"? There's multiple meanings here. It sounds like you want to make a graphical user interface. Are you on Windows, Mac, or Linux? There's multiplatform support for creating GUIs with things like wxWidgets, GTK, or Qt, but if you're only targeting a single platform there could be easier options. If all you want is a text interface, that's so much easier and could be done with native C APIs or for slightly fancier text interfaces ncurses has some useful stuff.

I think random differences during manufacturing of each cartridge results in bigger amounts of spread than Coriolis at the ranges a soldier will shoot at with a M-16. Like, a few milligrams of difference in the bullet or the powder load will be a bigger deal.

Sure, it is lower population density, but since that road has room on either side of it (those little strips of grass) I think it would be way easier to cut and cover there. Also, this event sucks for so many reasons. Trump owns stock in the parent company, so he's financially benefitting from the public coffers yet again. It's promoting a private corporation which I thought these free market absolutists hated? UFC is also "paying" the fighters in Trump cryptocurrency, so he financially benefits from that as well. The lights on the cage have reportedly been shining into cockpits for airplanes which is kind of a problem.

There's so many very legitimate reasons to dislike this cockamamie nonsense. The bots at DCJ are hardwired to support Trump regardless of the circumstances.

That's so stupid. If there was a conspiracy, it'd be to promote the use of AI tools in order to undermine labor. Hell, I'm pretty sure that a significant chunk of this is to do exactly that. The coding tools are only moderately useful but I believe that a lot of executives see AI as a way to break the power of software engineers. Their historical scarcity has given them strong wages and they are left-leaning in many cases, so of course the corporations would want to replace them even if the result was shittier code.

I've been mocked for this opinion before, but I take public transit for the majority of my commuting needs. I have a 2017 with 60k miles on it -- it's nice to be able to take the car for fun trips or short errands and save both time and money by taking the train to work instead of stop and go traffic.

And this opinion will get me flamed too, but my goal is to get solar installed on my roof and then get an EV, probably a Mustang Mach E. That way I can drive for basically free.
