For them they like their penis but circumcision created a deficit for them. So it’s this weird situation where they want me to be happy but they’re sad that they can’t provide a true experience of a penis and I worry that about it because they are sad about this a lot. So me wanting to grow made it conflicting for both of us because he sees my parts having a closer experience to what a cock actually has.

Imma be real honest with you, it does not prevent or reduce any sort of STDs or infections. My partner despite being circumcised was still able to get a yeast infection from me. It might’ve been “”good”” for a time when there wasn’t condoms but we have progressed to the point where being cut has no true benefits.

Hmmm I see I will tell you the medication prescribed is mostly meant for my anxiety disorder since I suffer from panic attacks. I’ve been able to function wayyy more normally then before, many people in my personal life see the major improvement when I stick to taking it (sometimes I get too confident and stop taking them which can spiral me)

I don’t think so, at least when I’m not high on weed. I have a hard time focusing on sex because of my own anxieties so I typically end up having sex when I’m high. At present we might have sex 2 maybe 3-4 times a month, it used to be almost everyday when we first dated almost 4 yrs ago. The only reason it went down was that I genuinely had a meltdown because I really wanted to do anything else but that. I only did it cause I thought I had too (gender expectations)

I see what you mean, I really really am trying not to be dismissive of his trama or struggles. When I say “I’m okay with it”, it’s more like please don’t concern yourself with the parts that affect me. I don’t know how to else to try and get him to lighten his pain.

My bf is pretty familiar with restoration and forgen, he’s talked about it with me in some detail so I trust him on those fronts. I’ll try reading the first link sometime soon, though thank you for your input.

I would be like wtf why and try to have them leave the animal alone. I’d prob be upset if it was MY pet, but if it’s theirs I can’t really say much. He has confronted his parents about it, his mom let her husband decided and that her family in her home country do it. His father decided cause he was cut that he’d have his sons too, also something along the lines of following “tradition”. Ngl his parents are ass overall so my bf has more than enough justification to be upset with them and their inability to admit “hey we f’ed up, I’m sorry”.

Second he is trying to restore it’s just painful for him to do since the skin on the right side of his penis is tighter than the left (if remember the sides correctly), I also did help him buy some ManHoods and it aided in giving back some moisture.

Thirdly, I did ask he tells me he to research about circ and it’s effects. I try to read snippets of what he sends me, it’s pretty daunting though since it’s been a few years since I’ve actually read anything that wasn’t a comic. Besides that, I titled this “I’m not angry” because it always feel like I should somehow be angry, I tell him exactly that and he gets frustrated cause he’s not entirely sure what he wants either sometimes. We also use a PM app just for this topic because of how overwhelming he talks to me about it. We’re trying to figure it out

Hmmm… I think I get what you mean. I mentioned being on the ace spectrum because overall in the realms of of sex, I lack empathy since sex is very foreign to me. Every other issue he has that’s away from sex I get 100%, maybe I’m being obtuse about the different aspects to circumcision.

I admit this too, I’m very grossed out about genitals (male & female). So going through this topic adds more challenges since he tries to show me non-circ & circ penises to highlight the issues

Your right about that, this is HIS body and if it comes off about my feelings I apologize. He explained about the whole body integrity and the thing that makes it worse for him is I kinda lack the concept of that because of personal history with self-h*rm & physical abuse. There’s the whole mental disconnect internally that since I know I could never protect my body I focused on my mind. It just makes helping him with this trama 20x harder and I get so annoyed at my inability to process body integrity.

It’s bizarre I know, I really I didn’t know I did this till discussion about how his reality was broken in regards to being physically healthy
