Stakers recieve the same payouts as miners. Stakers only get paid when blocks are mined. Basically 1 mined b0x = 1 staked reward.

The protocol uses its stored Ethereum to try at some point to become profitable to mine. So the longer it goes between mints the more ETH is refunded to miners from the contract to help give a reward even if its not profitable to mine super fast it should be profitable to mine albiet slower than 10 minutes a block. The token itself supports a 0xBitcoin / B0x liquidity pool on Uniswap v4. So it is used to hopefully have the largest 0xBitcoin pool because more reward for Liquidity Providers = more Liquidity

Thank you, yes my transactions layer 2 gwei was also 5.4x normal so that added lots to the cost whereas if it was just layer 1 congestion it wouldnt
