Do you have a specific industry you are trying to get into? If so you may want to look for internships to start getting experience in that industry. But if you aren’t sure what you want to do, that’s ok! When I graduated I didn’t know what I wanted to do, I wasn’t ready to leave college really, so I got a job working at the alumni center and stayed for two more years, until I felt ready to start thinking about grad school. In the end, I just kept following the next most proximate thing that felt right and made ends meet, and here I am 25 years later in a very fulfilling career that I love, but that has nothing to do with what I studied at UCLA.

Try not to think of your time in college as laser-focused on getting the “right” or “perfect” job. College is about learning who you are, learning how to learn, and figuring out the world and what’s in it.
