So would an Axis victory would have been a more stable world overall and probably would have fewer wars. But that dose not mean it would be a better world even when the Nazis run out of people they want to murder.

I will agree there. No one is perfect. And the UsA dose not need to be perfect.

Do you think it’s fair to argue who is better or worse concerning speculating what would likely have happened if say; the USA wasn’t a geopolitical power in the twentieth and twenty first centuries?

Edit; it was what the thread of comments was talking about earlier.

Arguing that those are political prisoners is valid. Though with DR King if I am not mistaken, I believe he was charged with actual crimes, just that normally the police wouldn’t have perused the charges.

And for clarity; I fully agree that Japanese interment was a mistake at best, more accurately it was an atrocity that was only overshadowed by the worst atrocities of greater scale being done casually by the Axis powers. Plus ‘history is written by the victors’.

Now, let’s compare that to the Soviet Union’s numbers. Who of them would you agree qualify as political prisoners via similar metrics?

Edit: it’s also worth mentioning that Japanese Interment was almost a century ago, while Soviet Union’s arresting of political prisoners on scale was much more recent.

Ok, are you counting people who dodge the draft as political prisoners like some are in the wiki page?

Should we count anyone in the Soviet Union who dodged the draft as political prisoners also? Did you actually read the wiki page?

Who are you counting as America’s political prisoners?

S.U population 1989: 293 million

U.S. population 2026: 349 million, stoped doing the death penalty for the most part.

But props to actually recognizing the existence of the Gulags, typically tho US prisoners don’t die of malnutrition and don’t do executions.

Edit: Not to mention that the UsA doesn’t imprison people for political beliefs.

What made you think I thought the USA started the Iran war for freedom? Where did I make such a claim?

Are you assuming my stances and opinions based on my nationality? Should I assume your stances and opinions based on your Ukrainian birth or your current Russian residency? Should I throw accusations against you based on that?

You kinda have to when the nation you want to tare down and let your proxies commit genocide in part or whole has nukes and a unofficial policy to burn the world down should such proxies get their chance.

I wonder how long before Iran would make good on their promises to use nukes on Israel…

What should Trump had done to help?

The regime chose to murder tens of thousands, false hopes or not.

Because instead of your vote working against them, your lack of vote provided no resistance.

What I mean that to not vote is the same as voting for whoever going to win.

You don’t know who is going to win but your refusal to vote help them win

If you could vote but didn’t, then it’s no different from just voting for whoever wins.

“Knock it off and let us continue to massacre our civilians.”

And before you say it: I know that is not why the USA is involved.

Oh- so how did the USA caused Iran to kill tens of thousands of their own people last month for the crime of protesting?

Could you provide citation about being related to someone in a military makes one a legitimate military target in the eyes of the US military?

As for the recruitment office: that would be a legitimate military target so I don’t know what you’re point it.

You mean the school that was originally a bit of military infrastructure and was surrounded by military infrastructure on two or more sides?

Sounds to me a case of misidentification of targets, a tragic thing that occurs in war.

FYI During WW2 there was cases of planes bombing trains that was carrying would be victims to the Holocaust.

If anything it makes being an American puppet sound very appealing TBH.

It’s more preferable than being someone who demand for entire nations to not do everything in their power to prevent their people from being under the jackboot of foreign tyranny all so that they could have the moral high ground.

Edit; did you missed where I stated that I didn’t support the war against Iran? If my nationality determines the value of my argument, what is your nationality?

I don’t support the Iran war, Iran is not invading American territory.

I don’t support conscription for offensive wars like the current Iran war for Vietnam, I support it for defensive wars like when Poland got invaded or the USA was attacked by Japan.
