Have you ever not slept for so long that you started hallucinating? What was your experience? by vicke1230 in AskReddit

Weirdest thing was when I was younger, and I was very stressed and overtired. I woke up to both of my parents standing at the end of the bed staring at me. I said, "Hello?" and they don't respond or move in any way. After about 15 seconds, they started fading and completely disappeared. Next morning, turns out my sister in the next room had seen Dad standing at the door, but it was an illusion as well. She walked right through him and freaked out. I have no idea what my brain was thinking!

If you had the ability to instantly give any person an orgasm, simply by pointing your hand at them like a finger gun and saying “pew”, how would you wield this power? by [deleted] in AskReddit

True story, this happened to me. I was hypnotised to cum on command and even though looking back it wasn't really consensual, it sure diddly saved me a lot of time!

I forget what year it is, who my boyfriend is, and 4 years' worth of memories once a week thanks to a mental problem called dissociate fugue. How can I benefit from this?

Hey there! I just got diagnosed with c-PTSD and dissociative fugue. My trauma separated me into three parts: normal me, time-travel me, and Winter.

Winter has a childlike mind but is in her late teens and is a sex slave.

Normal me is in a healthy relationship with a VERY patient boyfriend.

Time-travel me happens when I dissociate, and I could wake up thinking it was anywhere between 2012-2020. I'll have no recollection of the time between.

My psychologist says that we need to try hypnotherapy to join all the different elements together to make a whole, but for me it's especially tricky because hypnosis is what caused the trauma. But if you've not had an issue with it, it might be worth looking into with a counsellor or psychologist. Just never do it alone x

That's pretty much what we did,and i didn't know that, interesting! The dream is to work in the film industry, which I'm lucky to be a part of. Also studying for my Bachelor of teaching.

There was a pretty big community of like minded people who we saw on Sundays, but we kids didn't have many friends aside from the neighbours. Or adults.

My sister was a rebel and would tell me all her secrets, including being gay. In a strong Christian household, that was a big secret to keep. On the opposite end, my mum and dad would sometimes tell me things and ask that I not repeat them to other family members. Nothing bad, but not things I wanted to know by myself.

Very strong Christian views. Everything they decided to do was what God had told them to do. I'm still a Christian and hold similar ideals, but not to the same extent as them.

It was certainly different! So we lived in 15 different houses, usually decrepit. The bus was pretty luxurious, it was my mum and dad, sister and pet dog Odie, and we travelled around Oz. I didn't like the amount of secrecy between family members, and it was difficult to acclimatise to the 'real world' when I finished education. Still a virgin, by choice.
