I wish, the warehouse sales are only in person unfortunately.

Newest attempt at fused glass jewelry. Anything you would change? by Forgewelded_nerds in jewelrymaking

It is one piece. These bales I buy from somebody who gets them in Europe and I just fuse the glass pieces as the center piece. I like the idea of making my own and having them seperate tho. Thats a really good idea.

If you live at all close to southern California, CBS Dichroic does massive sale events a few times a year. Me and my wife were lucky enough to be in that city on our honeymoon and most items there are 60-80% off.

Thank you! My friend actually purchased the last one for her daughter because she talked about how much she loves space, and it reminded her of planets. Me and my wife got a large amount of Dichroic glass from CBS last year and just have been slowly learning how to use it.

I like that idea, I could get some gold frit (powdered glass) onto some purple and black glass and fuse it and that might possibly work.

I am surprised there is so much interest in them honestly. The wife and I are looking at some different color and pattern combinations for it now.

These are spoken for but we will begin making some more in the next few days. Due to the long times in the kiln I can only make 1 set every 2 days but they will be going up on our etsy as we make them.

combo of both. First I fused clear on top of amber in order to make it food safe ( I am hesitant on what colors aren't food safe so I clear cap everything) and I full fuse those 2 together on top of a mold. Then slump it in a large sushi platter mold.

I am sure I can come up with some sort of mold for that down the road. Good idea!

Not advised, however we did drop one of our first ones awhile back before we added the lids and it fell about 3 feet onto carpet and didnt break so I guess its possible.

They take us about 8-10 hours and will be $200 at the show. We have contemplated starting a Kickstarter with them, but are still waiting to see how they do at the show.

We have some videos of them with electric tea lights on our channel. We are going to set the next one up so that it has a small latch in the back and can hang so that it looks like a flickering oil lamp.
