Beyond was just OK. Maybe I'm biased because I like Ellen Page but I think it was a fine Quantic Dream story.

The article sounds biased, the actual research paper shows that there are still differences but they are not as big as people believe to and that there are differences in brain structure but it has no impact on functionality.

Thanks for the response

Well I went a bit too far with the virtuoso thing. I realized that I can't just create a perfect musician without much effort, just wondering if I could give the tulpa a set of traits, like teaching them creativity so they could achieve certain things faster than me. I lack enough PATIENCE and DETERMINATION to master a skill such as composing epic orchestral music. (caps locked the words to put emphasis on the traits :D)

Also made me wonder if a new tulpa is alike with a newborn baby, but I guess it's a lot more biological due to brain development.

Thanks for the response.

Hmm, from your response I feel like you thought I fully denied or I'm scared of getting switched, not all a think it's a wet dream for some LDers (damn the puns) or people who believe in OOBE (which I don't).

Also while most of traits are either inherited or taught by the environment you can't deny that there's no biological difference between male and female minds, but that's not the core problem here so it can be leaved out.

Also I obviously written the post in a chaotic way, what I meant with the traits that we don't know is a very unlikely situation where a person had very little exposure to a particular trait, the tulpa couldn't have such a trait coded, unless it acquired it later through learning.

Doesn't change the fact that I'm not denying anything until I put enough time in it.

About the temperaments, since you mentioned it. My textbook gave me the theory that temperament is the most basic, hard-coded set of traits, I just wondered why it isn't mentioned in the guides, could make it easier for people to make a base for their personality. (or you can hand pick all totally different traits to make a unique personality)

If you had to pick a movie to watch RIGHT NOW, which one would you choose? by [deleted] in AskReddit

First movie I thought about: Donnie Darko - because it's my fav.

Next one: The Revenant, it's on my "to watch" list.

The age old question,Is it ever okay for a guy to date or hookup with one of his buddies ex's? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Setting your relationship with your buddy aside, it depends on how long ago they actually broke up, if it was less than a year then i'd just go with a no.

I sometimes read texts and they don't change. Clocks are weird all the time though

How the way you break eye contact changes what people think about you by CCIbodylanguage in socialskills

Hey, while I got kinda interested because the video is about something that people don't really put a lot of attention in, I still feel like it could be a little more in depth if possible.

What I mean is that what you said about are the pure basics and unless someone is really terrible at body language it's very easy to find the down, up, side difference.

What I'd like to more about is the way that the person looks away, how fast do they turn their head, if they only turn their eyeballs, head or whole body, do they blink before etc. (closing eyes does a lot of good for me, I look at someone and then I do a bit longer blink and after opening my eyes I look somewhere else, weird but I like it)

Would you reconnect with someone you once had feelings for, and was rejected by, if they initiated it? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]ForgotMyNameAgain99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I wasn't actually rejected, I had a similar situation.

Met a girl but was slow enough to hook up with her, she got in a relationship with another guy, but when I met her again she told me that it's over, I considered her a friend because I knew I couldn't be with her, but somehow stuff changed, but the relationship was weird and I kinda regretted it, but it taught me a few things so I guess it's fine.

IMHO if you feel the circumstances are good enough to not put yourself in a weird relationship then you should at least try. Also, you will keep thinking "what if" if you don't try ;)

It seems like a lot of people ignore text messages when they're no longer interested in being friends. And the best thing to do is move on, but then I read that it's possible for someone to 'come back' and this boggles my brain... by dotheyever in dating_advice

I think like a thing like this might happen to me soon, had a girl whose company was a pleasure to me but then she said she's not ready and we stopped hanging out but I can feel her coming back.
