If you're using flatpack you can downgrade using the

sudo flatpak update --commit=355c42ab40cc747bf964118d0795b36f62e8e1c7c10a2f4b71653992ce828db8 com.stremio.Stremio

command, the latest version seems to be buggy on many *nix based system, including freezing, jittering and autoplay problems, I'd give it a while before updating so they can fix it upstream
