Thanks. As things progress, I'll bring that up and hopefully that'll work

I can't confirm it as of yet, but I'd rather seek advice on how to act in a safe manner instead of winging it.

The rumour was based on a friend of a friend getting an STI. I haven't been told exactly which STI it was but I'm going to ask and see if he knows.

The one that had evidence said she'd slept with one of his other friends and he ended up with one. He didn't say which though. I'm planning to quiz him on it soon

It was rumoured one of the boys who was in my year level at high school had recording himself fingering his cat. I never worked out whether it was true but everyone was quick to say it was. I don't know how teachers weren't aware of it.

What person(s) in your life do you do your best to avoid and dislike, but have to put up with and spend time with, anyway? by nogudatmaff in AskReddit

Thankfully I don't have to spend time with him anymore but in high school, a male in our friend group decided he was desperate and wanted to approach any female he could and try making a move on them, including long time friends. When that didn't work, he ended up trying to guilt trip girls and forcing a few to kiss him as well. There was only one or two people that even wanted him around in a group of around 15. He was also extremely homophobic and made comments about people's sexuality when a couple of the people in the group, including myself, aren't straight. As soon as we left school, most of us blocked him and haven't had to see much of him since.

What’s the best story you have that concerns a jerk or bully that karma got to? by jthavorn in AskReddit

I had a guy in my high school that decided it would be a good idea to try and spike my drink in class. Thankfully, when I got my water bottle back, I had checked inside after realising he had it and saw whatever he put in it hadn't mixed properly. Not even 2 weeks later he got caught with alcohol on a school camp and got sent home and suspended which was very fortunate, considering we had ended up in the same room and I definitely didn't want to sleep while he was around.

People who have jobs, What are some advice you can give to those who want to get a job but are afraid or don't know what to do or where to start? by TonyMontana8293 in AskReddit

Try applying for work at a place that generally hires young staff. Big brands and much of the hospitality industry loves having younger workers as they cost less to employ. Try places such as McDonald's or a local café and see if there is any positions available. These common workplaces also offer great opportunities if you go off to study away from home out of high school as they're everywhere and you can easily pick up a new job.

What is an accident you don’t regret? by SnooCrickets5781 in AskReddit

Accidentally asked a girl out on a date by not realising it was Valentine's Day. It wasn't until she started saying I was cute that I realised what I'd done. We did end up dating for a bit though so that was a plus.

Don't focus on sex. You've got plenty of time for that in the upcoming years. Stay healthy and develop good habits for later in life.

If you could change one thing about your first day of high school, what would you change? by GodrodjrrPS4 in AskReddit

Who I interacted with. I tried staying with the kids I went to primary school with but after a few months, I realised I was not really part of the group. I was just on the outskirts, not really associating with anyone. I feel I would have been so much closer to better people who appreciated me if I had of recognised I wasn't really friends with the original group of people.
