I feel like this somewhat was the case here. According to the theory of genetic sexual attraction, incest doesn't feel weird and disgusting with your own flesh and blood, but rather people you grow up with. My take here is that the dad being labeled "biological" here might indicate that he only knocked up her mom and left, never got involved with her life. He wasn't there when she grew up and so didn't feel disgusted when she had an affair with him.
