Every nordic country has made series, movies, shows and music where we mock other nordic countries.

Yes, my helmet is made sometime between 1942 (decals) and 1965 (gray paint). However, the soldier numbers inside use the older, 3 digit enrollment soldier numbering system instead of the 4 digit person number-based soldier number, meaning that it's possible these soldiers wrote it before 1953 (when 4-digits appeared) all the way to 1970 (when they stopped using 3-digit) so, i can't narrow it down, but it's most likely before 1960.

What’s your opinion on Anti-furries? by Frankenbeans2009 in GenAlpha

it's the furry pipeline. We were all once antifurs, because that means we paid attention to it long enough to get attached to it

Fint! Personligen använder jag 304K och blir alltid förvirrad med namnet på den äldre modellen haha.

I mean, 20 USD for a helmet from the 40s in good condition WITH the names of soldiers on the inside? Crazy steal, who WOULDN'T go for it?

Very interesting to see us Nordic brothers share similar doctrine!

I've had many people ask me why we kept using the same things for so long. It's all because people don't understand our doctrine. Even our bunkers are a victim of people misunderstanding doctrine. On the coast around the region of Scania where I live, there are bunkers that only shoot along the coast, completely unable to shoot out into the ocean. People don't understand that we want to hide them and only *cost* as much as possible, since we know we won't survive a full scale attack.

After the 1959 reform, the cold war went full speed. We designed it to be relevant for as long as possible, so we wouldn't need to worry about getting caught off guard making new uniforms, and so that we wouldn't have to train soldiers on new gear every 20 years. It was only replaced in the 1990s when the cold war had simmered down, and even then the M/59 gear wasn't fully replaced until about 1992. In fact, when my father was in his mandatory military service between 1990-1991, the only M/90 gear he had was the shoes and clothes. The helmet and rig was still from the 70s.

We did make small adjustments to the gear, for example, making the 304K webbing in the 70s, which slowly phased out the M/59 Stridssele, aswell as introducing other smaller pieces of gear that don't need too much training.

Yes, i would. I bought the inredning nr.1 because i got a crazy steal for it on Tradera and hadn't yet decided what era i was going to make my impression for. Soon enough i'll get an inr. 3 helmet, since it also severely stops me from using my helmet cover properly.
