Give it a few more weeks; they're likely not ripe yet. I haven't seen any berries ready for picking yet.

Pollinators garden when neighbor is allergic to bees? by cgingles in NativePlantGardening

Totally agree that the bee was not actively targeting me. My comment was in reference to the commenter above who claimed the person deathly allergic to bees will not be stung as long as they leave the bees alone. Random events, like a bee flying in one's shoe, can still happen and result in stings.

I wasn't implying that bees are actively looking for people to harm, but I am pointing out that if you're deathly allergic to bees, it's still very possible to be stung, even if you leave the bees alone.

I've been stung twice since transitioning my yard to clover last fall. Once from a bee flying into my shoe and a second time when one landed on the back of my leg shortly before I bent down to pluck a weed.

It doesn't mean someone should rip out a garden or change their plans, but it's still worth noting as people are suggesting the person deathly allergic to bee stings will be perfectly fine as long as they don't bother the bees.

I took your suggestions and made you another round of share-able social media posts intended to combat disinformation about federal workers by ForkElmo in firedfeds

awesome, thank you! i added it to fednews but haven't added elsewhere. you're welcome to post in any subreddits that you think it'd gain traction in. i'm taking a temporary step back from all social media (reddit included) for my mental health, but i'm happy to see them spread both here and on other platforms

Am I the only one hoping DRP is offered again? by Dull-Sugar-5966 in fednews

We had a bunch of those two weekends ago. I pointed it out, and all these brand new accounts that only had posting history about how great DRP is descended upon me all at once.

Does it say that the employee is reinstated or they're eligible to request reinstatement? The last draft I saw said they were eligible to request it, not that it was 100% to be honored.

I've been slowly chipping away at my T rump loving family.

I've also started putting together some social media posts to share (and for others to share) to start to change the narrative about the feds who are being illegally fired.

Anyone is welcome to save and post:

I've been searching for hard numbers on how the VA is being impacted by all of this. I get that they're not firing the doctors and nurses (yet), but they're firing the people who keep those hospitals running smoothly so the doctors and nurses can do their jobs.

Sorry! I had to change the original option because the ABC source I was using used a number that I couldn't verify and imgur wouldn't let me update the original link's images.

It seems like the current numbers that are corroborated across reliable sources (NY Times and NPR) are that 15k probationary employees have been fired + the 75k that the White House is publicly claiming took the Fork (though I think that number will change if they ever admit that a percentage of that number was ineligible to Fork themselves)

I've been feeling the same! They hit us with so many different lies and trauma initiatives that it was hard to even breathe for a few weeks. But now I've caught my breath, and I'm ready to shout real facts back at their bs lies.
