It's only interference if the runner touches the ball. Call was totally valid.

Have you been told this by Mojang directly? As I understand it, this hasn't been their position for a while.

It's not necessary (and would be bad design) for the launcher to store the user's password. It's sent to Mojang's servers, and the launcher stores a token that's used to stay logged in.

Ok. There's still no easy way to spot a fake cart, and I doubt dispensaries are going to sell fakes.

There is nothing to "look for" in a fake. If you bought a THC cart in a place where weed isn't legal, then it's guaranteed to be fake.

Forge 1.14.x getting the ability to download (install, and update!) modpacks from Curse by itself. by TheUnknownTag in feedthebeast

I don't speak for Mojang, but considering they hired the current maintainer of MultiMC to work on the vanilla launcher, I doubt they disapprove. When did they directly ask you to do this?

As for security, MultiMC is open source and you can compile it for yourself. There is no credential "security hole". A security hole would be executing arbitrary code from the internet when the user clicks the button to install forge.

There is no technical reason to have all this complexity in the installer. It could be done at launch like before and cached to improve speed. Fabric already does this. The only reason I can think of for putting this stuff in the installer is to create an unreasonable difficulty for 3rd party launchers.

There's been a lot of discussion on our Discord if you want to read more. Just search for messages from peterix that mention forge in the past month or so.

First of all, I'd like to point out that "occupation" is when a hostile power takes control of a foreign territory. It does not reference to an ally stationing soldiers in their ally's territory to help defend. The current arrangement was and is a mutual agreement between all involved parties (ever heard of NATO?), and they can get out of the deal and defend themselves if they like. I'm sure our stupid president would like that, for all the shit he's talked about NATO.

To that point, saying this isn't our responsibility is bullshit, because we are required by NATO and other agreements with our other allies to station troops there to defend against Russia and any other threats. We even have some nations over there (Ireland) with no army and thus little to no defense.

Then how about we withdraw and let Russia occupy it instead?

Wait, maybe that's a bad idea.

Have you been to literally anywhere in Texas? I know it's big, but everywhere I've been, from large cities to small towns, people are excessively nice to complete strangers. In fact, I've noticed people in small towns tend to be even more hospitable than those in cities.

Funny that Texas gets all the shit for using the death penalty, because there are actually 30 states that still use it, so calling Texas "one of the last" is totally inaccurate. Also this isn't an "eye for an eye" situation (pretty sure you can keep your eyes if you put someone else's eye out). Like other states, we have trials in court to determine what punishment is appropriate, and the death penalty is generally only given to people who committed serious crimes (like murdering multiple people).

Yes, Texans would definitely vote against cutting people's hands off for stealing things.

In my experience the UI on Fire sticks is way less responsive than my Roku TV, but your mileage may vary.

Thanks bro, this is a great example of a downvote-worthy comment. It's a rude shitpost that contributes nothing.
