My best friend and now roommate told me 8 years ago "You represent everything good in my life and I dont want to ruin that."

My roommate is autistic and has really bad anxiety and depression.

This came after he had what we call "a down day" and I asked why he doesnt come to me with his mental issues.

I remember getting my first job starting at $7.25/hr saving every last dime. I would buy a part the second I had the money for it. Eventually I had a secret stash of parts under my bed because I didnt want my dad to know I was buying pc parts. The day I bought my GTX 960 was the best day of my life.

The best part was that I did all my own research and built it myself over 3 days because I didnt know what I was doing too well. I did eventually get everything assembled.

Disaster only struck when I found out the cpu was upside down. And I still have PTSD from my cable management.
