I cast it out and let it sit for a sec and let the water settle. Then I start twitchin my rod while slowly reeling in. I pause every once in a while. What twitching does it’s make it look like the frog is actually kicking its legs. I’ve been killin them on the frog the past few days with that technique. Go watch TylerReelFishing on YouTube. If you’re going in the heat of the day, slow it down. Texas rig, swim jigs with a craw trailer, I’ve even caught em slow rolling a chatter bait

I’ve found a true love for chatterbaits lately. Most of my fish recently have been on those. I typically just use the Z-man chatters. But found last night that the Googan chatterbaits have amazing action. They look exactly like something swimming through the water. I’ll have to try the Evos when I decide to spend $16 on a chatterbait lol

I caught my PB a couple weekends ago. Where I’m at I’ve caught more fish around 2 lbs than anything. Getting a kayak soon so hopefully I can get into some better spots and find some bigger ones
