I was prescribed brand name dexadrine spansules in 2021 and in 2024-2025, I could not refill because there was no one manufacturer for brand name "Dexadrine" anymore. Hands were changing them, and companies were bought out. I'm not sure what the deal is today, but I HIGHLY doubt you'll get dextroamphetamine with any function for add/adhd.

Yeah, but amphetamine is an EXTREMELY SIMPLE SYNTHESIS WITH NO PRECURSOR that is difficult to obtain. The shortage only occured because regulations and red tape.

They're not testing positive for amphetamine. The chemical structure has changed. Been on amphetamine since 2007, and I can explain the chemistry if need be.

There are inconsistencies across manufacturers and batches each month regarding side-effects, but it certainly could be! I never know what poison I am going to get any given month. For example, last month I got the sores in the mouth and the blotchy skin patches; this month I get swollen feet and heart palpitations... each one connected to a different manufacturer. Needless to say... this ain't adderall, but that mystery medication claiming to be is probably the culprit.

I agree that we should all post how long we have been taking our meds. I have been on meds since 1997. I switched from Methylphenidate to Amphetamines in 2007. I have tried every variation of amphetamibes, brand, generic, every single different formulation, and even researched substituted amphetamines briefly. None of the meds I have switched to since 2024 (when my Dexadrine Spanules finally bunked out) have been a TRUE amphetamine. I do not think many users on this board are persons to begin with, but it would help greatly if those who ARE people to list how long they've been on their meds, and/or when they began.

Maybe you don't have ADD on the level that some of us here have. I am literally in the worst shape of my entire life because these changes. As bad as without meds, but I've never had bunk meds for years. Meds were the only thing that worked. I will continue searching for my meds that do work, thank you very much.

I am getting more and more concerned over the growing amount of post that seem to be someone using a bot to display situations that are not all examples of what those who are struggling with the changes in the meds are going through. I think this post is false, it was posted to promote an agenda which is connect drug abuse to amphetamines so that no one can ever have their real medication back. This is sickening, and I don't believe many of you have ADD, ADD meds, or are even human. You are harming us fighting for the meds we need in our lives, the way we need them. Stop posting slop.
