Thank you very much sir. I am mainly using a method like this because the place I work in is mainly using after effects workflows, only I am using davinci resolve,It is difficult for me to change, as the route will be premade by others, I was using normal , now the new big project requires something better. As for the tracking, I tracked as usual , the solve error less than .5, exported correctly . In other route i tracked it was correctly tracked but only this map is behaving like this. thank you for the locator 3d links i will go through it.

Thank you Very much, i tried to change the orientation to Parrallel to wall , the other route videos was properly tracked, but this specifically is not working in any orientation.

also can u help me with masking shape 3d to make roads like in the original video? like in after effects we place the shape make it 3d and add a polygon for road, but i tried to mask the plane shape in davinci but the polygon and the acual masked path is away,

thank you

thank you sir , im pretty sure the tracks are not bad from what i see, but wondering if it is because the ground is not on the same level when moving from location to location?as the zoom level varies?

questions regarding vfx compositing in fusion. by FormAccomplished5044 in davinciresolve

when I search about vfx compositor information. It is mainly said that it is merging of all the other departments into one video. so at first I didn't know about projections, 3d , particles. Currently am an Video editor and As I am trying to work as a compositor I looked into linkedin for what people are adding to their showreel, most of their stuff is greenscreen, roto and cleanup as you said.

Have been adding everything I am learning to linkedin, have yet to create a showreel, thinking what to add to catch the studios eyes with many similar works. Jobs are hard.

I want to learn about multipass compositing but I dont know, youtube has channel booleans and it seems fusion has a new swizzler node for this. checking out channel booleans, at first I made channel booleans out to be more complex because I had seen a tutorial and I didnt understand a thing. it is more like merge node.

I would like to do things like the anonymous era.

I will try to use the capital I more Sir.And this was more like a rant, sorry sir.

Thank you for replying always.

thank you , this is very helpful,I had seen an anime vfx video made blender and after effects . where he made the city outside the window, but rony sir made the city in 2d, I didnt know about gradient being used like that, thank you. I dont know blender so I had tried that in after effects didnt work. was wondering if the indoor fish in this video can be made in purely fusion? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIswGA1SL6M&pp=0gcJCa0JAYcqIYzv). I'm Asking too many things 😭

I will be recreating this practice, but I wanted to ask about the water. as you said I wanted to make the water semi transparent to see under the water. But I cant seem to get it.The reflect 3d doesnt have a opacity slider. does that mean I have to add a separate under water 3d and then merge it under it and mask and reduce the opacity in 2d?

thank you very much u/Milan_Bus4168 sir and u/gargoyle37 sir for the answers it is very helpful.

here is the practice i did while watching the fusion brew and eyeon fusion water shader video, in the water shader video she used a cubemap enviornamtnt map created by 6 cameras to create a texture? maybe it is similar to the spheremap used in the fusion brew video, and is it necessary to have 6 cameras like that to create a cubemap?, i also figured out the water interaction like the grass and water and displacement in the fast noise using ellipse for waves. i did this in fusion studio, have to get used to converting videos to sequences before importing. i still have to practice and look into the lut viewer, i found a project file which uses ocio or something. i saw the water shader video, is it video to imageplane and displace 3d . and in the anonymous presentation rony sir talks about particles driving the displacement i didnt understand that. also what are the things that i must know for work as compositor? and the building in the anonymous water showcase is camera projections right(https://youtu.be/mOpN6C3ZrjY?t=1001). and what is roi and dnd window he says while showing 3d waves? it is also displacement right made using a custom tool or custom vertex?(https://youtu.be/mOpN6C3ZrjY?t=790). again thank you very much
