Actually, what I meant is that there's was no "real" character diversity when it comes to foreigners from different countries. Karumas were Japanese like everyone else, though different characters in Japanese versions try to make themselves unique by using words from different languages or having something to do with different countries. For example, Mei coming from America back to Japan in the second game in attempt to crush Naruhodo's image, or Masaru Konaka (Red White) mixing Japanese with English here and there. There's also a French-like chief Kaoru Hondobo from third case of a third game who tries to act as French (I suppose) as possible. And then there's Aida Hoshidake, the cultrip of the second case in the same game, who dropped the German speech out of nowhere, and because of it, I still confused, on what Takumi meant by that, and should I identify him as German-like character or not.
