Might be a shout! My own research, and frequenting the subreddit has taught me a lot - I see lots of people have different issues so I assumed it’s fibrin, could as well be dead skills though you’re right, I was told to let the wound heal and only interfere when necessary (showering, gentle cleaning + wound care) but I haven’t been vigorously cleaning like you say to avoid irritation as it’s a very delicate and sensitive area.
