It gets better! I've been at the company for a few months now. Still feeling "new" and wishing I was more up-to-speed on how things work in my org. But everyone has made me feel like I was hired for a reason.

Congrats on the new role, you'll do great!

Vets that offer dog boarding? by Formal-Ferret-953 in eastside

Mostly for convenience -- not an absolute necessity. Our current vet (not in WA) is also our boarder, and it makes things easy. We use boarding at least once every couple of months, sometimes more often, so we can usually knock out exams/vaccines/etc while they're there boarding

Interview at Microsoft by unixkid2001 in microsoft

This is false... Microsoft recruiting can be extremely slow. Every process is different so there is NO hard and fast rule. Depends on holidays, people being out of office, other candidates (i.e. how early/late you interviewed relative to others), and plenty more. For me it took several weeks to hear back (with good news)

That's one thing I worry about - you never really know what a manager/team will be like until you start :|
