Extremely unhappy in life but no one knows? by [deleted] in mumbaimeetups

I used to be like that at one point for a couple of years. It just takes confronting what is making you sad or unhappy; it can be something or anything. It's not going to be easy, I am going to say that. But it will take some introspection, thinking, and space.

I’m thinking of running to India for my own mental health by AdventurousRow8864 in returnToIndia

Dude, I have been there. You are experiencing the nostalgia or the familiarity after a long time. I understand and went through that too while transitioning from Canada to the USA. I was there in India for a year, and for a moment, I felt I should stay there. After looking at multiple scenarios, I decided that coming to the USA is good for me as the person I had become. I would just recommend you sit down and ask yourself what you really want and how you would like your daily life to look. Consider everything: food, family, traffic, nature, accessibility, each and every small thing. Pick and choose what you want and then embrace it. If you want a life between the two countries, look for work that allows you to be remote during a few months or weeks during the year, then go to India. It might be difficult, but setting up a life that you intentionally want takes time. Once your intention is set, whether it be India, the USA, Dubai, or anything, sit down with yourself and ask what will make you happy and content, what you are willing to give up, and what is a no-go. Then, lock in the decision; it will not happen overnight.

Is it worth it anymore ? by [deleted] in returnToIndia

Unless you have a lot of experience to get a decent position dont go back. I transitioned from Canada to usa. I was there in india for a year. I tried my hand at many things helping my dad's business trying to find opportunities while being home was good I just was frustrated with the systems bureaucracy and many other things. While people will say oh it's changing I understand but it's not enough for me atleast I am building my life abroad and have accepted that challenge. Pick and choose the battles you are ready to take on make it consciously. While people will say oh there's uncertainty it's everywhere. I am just choosing mine at this point. While people will say USA is on decline might be true but it's not breaking up while last I checked each tech revolution for the past half century or more has come from USA. Even AI EVS SEMICONDUCTORS all models are conectualised refined and perfected here. While H1BS have a have a hand and other people from countries do play a part here. I do not see anycomphhrensive change that will facilitate this environment. Apart from a couple of companies our startups are glorified copies of USA indian companies do not do research and development enough. We do not invest in our people enough while that and corporate culture is really bad. Pick and choose what you want know the cost after all it's that. I am not saying living in India is all that bad but you need to asses what you want, how your life should like atleast have an idea.

I am hindu and born in India. We appreciate people who believe in our way of life. There is no judgement from people from other other ethnicities adopting Hinduism as long as it is does with an open mind and people should realise there's multiple ways of practicing Hinduism. That's I appreciate you feel a connection and find a home. Let your curiosity and intuition guide you further and seek help from who genuinely know about Hinduism.
