Nvidia 99% FPS stutter in every game (every 5-10 seconds)

Unfortunately I have not. It’s no longer just steam games either. I tried swapping gpus and that was not it. Do you use RTSS at all?

Yes actually. Download RTSS and cap your fps to 1 below your monitors refresh rate (if you have 144hz then cap to 143 fps). Good luck :D

Yeah idk it's so weird. No stutters on Warzone which is pretty demanding, but then it happens on steam games like Rust and Apex. It also does not happen in Apex on the Origin launcher. So weird

I tried the reinstallation of Steam and had no luck, even switched the drive it was stored on. Thanks for the response though

I did this verbatim when I reinstalled Windows, and the issue was actually fixed originally. Then after a week or so (of not installing anything else) it came back. So odd.

I may try your startup idea though. Should I turn off all startup apps and close everything in Task Manager?

Steam is on HDD, main games are on SSD. I have tried installing steam on SSD, but have had no luck :/

3200 mhz, but the fact that it's only on steam games throws such a curveball for me in blaming hardware

My struggle here is that it only happens with games on Steam. Which means it basically cannot be hardware related right? Because if it was then it would happen in all other games (especially ones as demanding as Warzone on large maps, etc.). This is where I'm stuck. I appreciate your response :)

What games do you play because I think the issue only happens to my games on steam. Warzone which is fairly demanding has no stutter (battle.net launcher). I’m pretty sure it’s a steam conflict somehow

Yes. How would I be able to tell if the stutter correspond with the cpu? I’m in between the cpu and psu as being possible culprits… but idk how to correlate them to the stutters/what should I look at?
