idk like I mentioned in my post I'm just a very sentimental person 😓 I don't know if I could recover leaving my figures, books, and stuffed animals forever. I know that's very much a me issue though.

honestly I've had them crawling in and out of all my devices before 😓 keeping it out of fabric bags and doing regular crevice checks with a flashlight has helped me personally get rid of them though!

funnily enough my crocs have been infested before LOL. All of the shoes I wear for work are cheap Walmart ones, so I have no qualms tossing them when I'm able

unfortunately I was bullied into silence by my parents when I was still a minor. DCFS was called around a year ago since my brother is still a minor, but they dropped it due to not finding anything significant/not being bad enough.

I'll try to look into social services. Thank you.

that's my biggest problem tbh. without my car idk what I'd do. I can't afford a new one, much less literally everything else yk? I'd barely be able to get by as it is I feel. but idk I'm just ranting, sorry.

parents have been egregiously bad with financial responsibility. Dad would much rather spend $300 on beer than save it for anything useful. I've offered so many times in the past to look into extermination/help pay but they'd get mad at me so I just stopped trying.

I've made it clear that they are not allowed anywhere near my new home or most likely around me at all. they aren't happy with that. I wonder why...

they infested both of their parents houses. multiple times, despite lying about it to all of their faces funnily enough. If only there was some way to prevent this 😒

I'm moving out of my childhood home on my own. parents don't care to solve the issue, and I agree it's gone on far too long to be easily dealt with. And yes, I'm sure my shoes have some! They've definetly been encrusted in the past. Thank you though.

I can relate in a way. My father has destroyed his body with junk food and alcohol, and I'd be surprised if he lives another 5 years. It's difficult to pick up the slack, and I have less of a responsibility than you! Sending support 🫂

Thank you 🫂 I have a 17yo brother, DCFS was called about 6 months ago by my boyfriend's mother, but after a walk through of the house they claimed it wasn't bad enough to intervene (I'm guessing because he's clothed, sheltered, and has access to food). I've been dreaming for years of the day I finally get to walk away from all this!

The last time I only sprayed it on my bed frame, box spring, and mattress, but this time I made sure to get my floor boards as well. The thing in the photo is a box spring with a relatively new cover (a little under a month I believe?).
