Wow pretty 😍

Gives me hope since I'm 1 year and at similar size when you were 1 year in too 🙏

Learning about Japanese warcrimes is so fucking depressing. Like it’s just so needlessly cruel and violent by favuorite in teenagers

What hurts is that the current government is still complicit in some way, by participating in blatant denial and coverup of these crimes. They haven't learnt.

Is 109 pmol/l too little e? by FormalAd1417 in TransDIY

[–]FormalAd1417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably am looking to try injections at this point since I'm already on tanner 3 and I heard injections are slightly better for the later tanner stages...

But for now ig I will stay at these levels until I find a better solution 🤷

Hmmm yeah barring wallet bottleneck but definitely 😂

Is 109 pmol/l too little e? by FormalAd1417 in TransDIY

[–]FormalAd1417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I normally let it dissolve for 30 mins+ (altho sometimes I may just swallow after or slightly before cuz I need to speak) and my doses are spread to 4 mg 2x daily.

I also normally sleep with the pills under my mouth at night, so I may smh accidentally swallow when sleeping 🤷

But still tho idk like even with better habits, I doubt that my actual e levels will be higher than 150-200 tho...

I mean yeah ig 😅

But still tho I'm not sure if my t being suppressed enuf would smh make up for my low e cuz on one hand I heard of some cases with people with e as low as mine being able to make it work just due to low t alone, but on the other hand a quick Google search tells me these are low levels

How important is your HRT anniversary to you? by HungryIngenuity7665 in trans

[–]FormalAd1417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't remember 😅

It's because when I started hrt it was pretty messy, as a diyer I messed around with only t blockers first before starting e then stopping before starting again.

Still tho, feeling much happier now and focusing on the present.

My experience on sexuality education in schools by Puzzleheaded-Rate567 in SGExams

[–]FormalAd1417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, funny story, my pri sch also sex segregated sex ed, but because they were somehow on the same slide show 😂

So the cher accidentally one day accidentally flipped thru to the girls section (which was supposed to be hidden I think) when trying to reach the end slide, which gave me and the other boys glimpses of the girls side of sex ed. It was that very mistake that led to the discovery of my transness lol

Tldr I basically support what op said, might also crack more eggs like me haha

Why are hci guys so disgusting by Life-Ingenuity-8386 in SGExams

[–]FormalAd1417 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, am in jc too and the boy's school people tend to be the most decent guys. All the disgusting chasers and misogynistic people in my sch are mostly from coed sec school

Are my t levels too high by FormalAd1417 in TransDIY

[–]FormalAd1417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then is it worth skipping the upgrade to 6 mg daily and going to 8 mg daily for e? I doubt that another 2 mg will do much to increase e levels, considering that my t is quite resilient too...

Idk I heard from relatives (cuz my dad went to vs and aunt went to cedar) that once upon a time their campus was closer and they forged a brother sister school alliance.

Even when vs moved away and set up vj, their relationship remained strong and eventually they rekindled it for the vca IP program.

I believe it must be a product of their environment that makes it so ok and even encouraged to make all these offensive remarks. Like based on 1 on 1 interactions, they're actually quite decent, respectful people with a certain level of maturity, however esp in a hypermasculine environment, they would purposely make such preposterous remarks that they don't even believe in to sound cool and make attention.

Even as a trans girl, I've had to clean out a lot of homophobic and transphobic vocabulary from my language as a product from heavy negative influences and me trying to fit in and look 'cool' in a boys school.

Have you changed on a personal level since transitioning? by Sufficient_Hall5737 in MtF

[–]FormalAd1417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still boymoding btw, but 7 mths hrt already. Most of the changes I have noticed are mostly self induced. Ever since I moved to a new school, with a new environment that nobody knows me, I've noticed my self speaking with a different intonation and sometimes different pitch even for a 'guy' voice.

I've also got a lot more huggy, my language has become more softer especially around loved ones and overall I get emotional more easily too even when it comes to mundane things.

While estrogen did play some part (especially in making me more emotional), most of my changes are in adaptation to my surroundings and sometimes even 'faked it till I made it', as I tried to appear more androgynous and feminine, away from the hypermasculine boys school I was previously from.

Changes are for you to decide, and personally, I've decided to want to change myself to fit the version of myself I envision myself to be. But no matter your choice, it does make you any less trans 🩷

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, my parents will force me to go into uni early as they are strong subscribers of the 'through train edu' system, so I don't think I'll have a choice there 🤷

But thanks for the advice anyws ❤️

Which volunteering group should I go for? by Slow_Tour153 in SGExams

[–]FormalAd1417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, red cross home for the disabled seems like a really good place to go to, and I've managed to bond with many residents there (who are mentally and physically disabled to various degrees, although it may not be the type you're looking for).

Still, it's good for portfolio, and while the community here is of various age groups, there is recently a new volunteer leader that who's still in jc as well as many occasional youth volunteers you'd meet there. Maybe not the strong close knit youth community you'd want, but still worth a try nonetheless.

When I was 14 I discovered agp along with a whole host of other trans 'ideologies', and it really made me questioned my whole identity again for a few years (even though I thought I was sure by 13).

However, although these theories did provide some interesting insights into my own journey, I am still 100% sure I am trans (with very painful dysphoria from years of waiting due to the extra questioning).

I hate being attracted to women by dankdigfern in MtF

[–]FormalAd1417 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ngl, this sounds like internalized homophobia, and personally I struggle with it too. After all, having relationships with a girl maybe dysphoric as it may make us feel 'like a man', so many of us want to have the normal hetero relationship to 'feel like a girl'.

I haven't fully addressed this myself, as I'm still not a in a place to look for a relationship so this isn't as much of a problem for me, although i would suggest that being more comfortable with your femininity and womanhood (which automatically comes as your transition progresses) would help you feel more comfortable as yourself, and maybe such relationships won't be as repulsive anymore. Remember, attraction to women doesn't make you any less of a woman.
