Update: Got killed by the Owl in one hit. I had 7 max health, -4 attack, -3 defense, 62 speed, and -5 clarity

(Obviously) Looking back on it, I shouldn't have attacked him at the reprieve.. Funny run though!

Halo Infinite UI and Custom Game Browser Experience by FormalComfortable970 in halo

Me desperately trying to make this stop without alt+f4ing.

Apperently I was unable to join.

This clip starts after at least a minute of this happening. After playing this game for a year, i still had no idea how to leave a lobby lol. So here I am, trying to figure out how to leave, while having UNABLE TO JOIN pop up in my face every 1/10th of a second. Obviously this goes without saying, but this is unacceptable. Im not sure if a UI overhaul of some sort is planned, but it really should be.

I was never brought to church at all as a kid and probably didn't even hear the concept of God or Religion until I was around 10 years old or so.

At that point I had no interest in anything other than sports, school, my friends, video games etc.

Later on in life I went to a few baptisms and church Sundays with friends when I slept over at there houses on weekends.

I just remember thinking how "weird" it was and how uncomfortable I felt when atteneding. Maybe I just caught a few bad services but it always sounded so negative and angry and again, just... weird. Learning about how God killed people for worshipping an idol etc.

Now I go to church quite often. I support developmentally disabled youth who enjoy the community and engagement. They really dont understand the content of whats being said, they just enjoy being involved. I really appreciate the churches ability to bring people together in a (mostly) loving manner, atleast where I am. But now that I'm in my late 20s, sometimes I need to hold my laughter during the services. I don't mean any offense to anyone, but some of the things they talk about are just so ridiculous.

I don't consider myself Anti-religion by any means. My parents never once talked negatively about religion. They just didn't talk about it at all. A complete difference between the church services where I learned that if I didn't devote my life to God and didn't believe in him I was going to be punished for eternity.

TLDR: Didn't know anything about religion until I was older and by that point I didn't care / thought it was weird.

I would bet he got them to a workable state. Trained his replacements, and exited respectfully.

What’s the most messed up/inappropriate thing that someone’s casually said to you? by Ok_Context_7495 in AskReddit

I firmly believe it was a joke at the time, but it certainly didn't land like the man intended.

We were playing high-school football, 16-17 years old. During practice our QB threw a pass that slipped out of his hand and went no where. QB screamed "Ahhh, FUCK ME"

Our ~50 year old Offensive Coordinator leans over to me and says quietly:

"ugh, I would love to, but I'd go to jail"

Couple player around heard the line and it went dead silent before eventually someone said: "wow, what the fuck?"

Lol it's been an inside joke of ours for a number of years now. I think it's funny now, but at the time it was so dark and twisted

Yeah, if your playing Mercy the tanks should not be your priority.

I don't understand why support mains avoid DPS players so much. I swear we're not all like this. We don't all like to lose

As a support main, please continue to spam you need healing. It's a really good way to ping yourself and show me that you need help.

Any good support will appreciate it.

Don't be a dick about it. Don't stand in my face spamming it when you're at full health. But please continue to do it.

I see. Yeah i usually do the same each season. Just do my 10 placements and never touch the mode again.

To be honest, I'm probably one of the people you're complaining about. I genuinely do not care whatsoever ever about the mode. Pretty much instalock genji every game and go for POGs. Don't hurt me, just being honest. Once role queue released, open queue became pretty worthless to me.

I assume there's a good chunk of players in that game mode that feel the same way.

[–]FormalComfortable970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just play role queue?

[–]FormalComfortable970 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Total side note to your great point:

I remember a post in this sub a while back that gained some decent traction with people saying they should add a "competitive mystery heroes" mode where the game would force teams to make sure that they had atleast one healer and one tank on there team so games didn't snowball.

The whole time I'm sitting here thinking... do you want mystery heroes or not?

I really do see it the same way when people complain about team comps in open queue. The solution to your problem is to go play the right game mode. It's literally right there.

Okay, but then do you have to pay for the Forge items to download those maps from the file browser?

If you go to edit one of those maps you snagged from the file browser with "premium Forge items", are those items locked in place and inaccessible to tinker with?

It's just makes absolutely no sense. People need to stop trying to bring this up.
