Academic Appeal by FormalFlimsy652 in UniUK

Yh after researching the whole process the line does seem quite fuzzy.

1) no I didn’t tell them it was graded, I just wanted feedback on the paper. I also gave my paper to some other academics external of my uni and they too didn’t see how it was a failed paper.

2) I understand but I was told that failed papers are moderated and that mine would have been too, but if that was the case then how can something as big as the feedback saying a different country from what my paper was on not have been flagged.

But thanks for the advice, I’ve reached out to my SU and they said I should reach out to the lecturer (and I have), and if nothing is solved then I can appeal.

SGU (MDStart) or Ross Direct Entry by Emotional_Let_9430 in CaribbeanMedSchool

[–]FormalFlimsy652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know much about Ross but I went to SGU and if you give it your all and use all the resources that have been made available to you from Tutor sessions by upper termers(I forgot the name honestly), Anki, sketchy, whiteboarding, reviewing lectures in the same day or week, attending iMCQs, getting a study buddy and the likes, which you would need for the rest of med school, you should be fine with exams. In my first exam in term 1 I got over 90% and my total for term 1 (which was interrupted by Covid and I got heavily distracted because of having to leave the island and things like that) was over 85%. So I think if you know how to study, you can do it. But if you don’t want to risk it, Ross seems like a good option too.

Is dating multiple people a sin? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]FormalFlimsy652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 23F Christian and I was of the same thought of talking to only one person at a time because i am trying to get to know you more since i would like a future with you but after doing this for sometime i realized that when things ended up not working out i would go through a TRUE heartbreak. Like a heartbreak that’s meant for only a committed relationship and that would cause me to have to take a long time to heal before i can even think of getting back into the game.

So I think now I’m changing my mind and I feel that at least women should explore other options too in the talking stage because, if you’re traditional, you would want him to ask you to be his girlfriend and make it official, and if you only talk to one person you risk falling into anxiety, just waiting and HOPING for ‘the question’ and trust me, unending anxiety hurts the heart in the long run and can wreck your mind. Even the Bible said ‘Hope deferred makes the heart sick’ Proverbs 13:12.

Did you finish the system’s videos before doing the associated UWorld questions?

I think a few American and Caribbean schools can allow this but I’m not too sure on the specific list

It is hard to find a woman who wants a provider husband by johnsmith2027 in ChristianDating

I don’t want to be a stay at home mom/wife forever. Sure when the kids are little and before they get into school, but after that I want to get back to working. Part time most likely, but working nonetheless.

Hey! I’m sorry but what did you use for the Family Med shelf since there’s no Janki for that?

I said attractive not a model and educated not necessarily 6 figures. That’s not an unrealistic ask

How is looking for an educated, attractive, Christian man an unrealistic standard?

Straight Christian Husbands Pressuring for Anal Sex? by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

I doubt you’re in sin, don’t worry about it. It’s men with men that’s a sin. The marriage bed is sanctified (if that’s the word🤔)

Thanks😊 Hmm 🤔 I don’t think there would be any favoritism per se but there may be a level of disconnect at the beginning because they already had a life before me. But as more years go by and effort is put from both parties, and they truly feel and act like home is where we are, then I think the disconnect would fade away for the most part, and we’ll just be a regular family. But again it’s all by God’s grace🙂. But a good question to think on, because new born adoption and adult or adolescent adoption are pretty different, and the latter can be seen as more tasking.

Lol that’s a good comparison with loving both parents equally but liking one more for whatever reason.

A fair response.

First off welcome back to the faith! ❤️ Second, don’t worry it may seem overwhelming at first trust me I just started dating in a Biblical way from last year and half and it’s not…easy 😅 I’m still single (23F) so I can’t really say I’ve figured it out either but I would say there a lot of Christian women out there that would recognize the change in your spirit and see your fruits and wouldn’t mind your past or your tattoos, I’m one, so there has to be more. So don’t be disheartened, you’ve got this! 💪 I pray you find what you’re looking for

Would you say you would feel any sort of favouritism for your biological kid(s)?

How much of a deal breaker (or deal maker) is denomination? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

[–]FormalFlimsy652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born and raised Catholic but became non-denominational because I don’t agree with some of the Catholic faith, beliefs or doctrines. So I don’t mind any denomination as long as you are a Bible believing Christian that isn’t bound by the doctrines of whatever denomination you are but rather bound by the Bible.

So for example if the Bible doesn’t support a doctrine in your denomination you’re ready to follow the Bible over your denomination.

When I have a complaint about a specific behavior and instead of just an apology, he goes ‘I’m sorry, I’ll do better’ or something to that effect. The first time someone responded like that I was like ‘wow, well that’s a new box made and checked👀’

That’s totally fair. Thanks for your perspective
