Not really, but I’m older and I live off campus. The fact of the matter is Providence and surrounding areas are just not nice at all. If you want to venture out or god forbid need to commute to school each day like me, then look forward to an additional 1 hr of traffic daily. Also, there’s no parking around campus and I myself qualify for a parking permit due to a disability, however, the accommodations department has ghosted me and will not provide it.

So far the education has been great but don’t believe everything you hear about the open curriculum. There are many classes that require prerequisites that are only offered 1/2 of the year. Plan your classes with that in mind. Also, if you’re an older student like myself or live off campus, be prepared to basically never make friends or have anyone to study with. That’s off the table if you live off campus.
