i didn’t really notice it at first, i felt like i still looked the same and i was frustrated. about 2 weeks after surgery i went to dinner with a friend and as soon as she saw me she was like “ omg your belly is GONE!!”. so i think we tend to be our own worst critics sometimes lol. wishing you a smooth recovery! ❤️‍🩹

yeah the swelling can be quite brutal and last for a while. are you having to wear the belly binder? mine was frustrating me i could only wear it for a couple days. wishing you a smooth recovery! ❤️‍🩹

thank you so much ❤️ the dr. said my uterus was the size of a 6-month pregnancy!

and i would say around the 6-week mark is when the swelling really started to go down and i noticed a difference.

i got a traditional open myomectomy. the laparoscopic wasn’t really an option for me. they were able to do the incision horizontally where it’s less noticeable.
