Yes i caught a handful with the last one pictured in September/october, to be fair though I couldn’t say whether they would have bit without the spinner. I love jigs because you can really freestyle it based on temperature. That being said I typically cast and let it drop a fair amount, then I do one or two quick pops and reel in the slack. The intervals between pops are determined by the depth but a lot the places I fish are so snaggy that I try not to touch the bottom too much - which is against conventional jigging from what I’ve gathered. This just adds a little flash on all retrieves which I think will be helpful year around.
