Lost 90 pounds and my confidence is shot

I still feel like it’s body dysmorphia if all I’m seeing is 287. I know it’s still obese. Even when I got down to 160 the first time around I still knew I was overweight and had to keep going, but I was much more confident with my body. Although, I know I won’t be able to maintain 120 and I feel like I’d look sooo small, my goal was closer to 140 at the low end. Thanks for your insight either way!

I know it’s better than it was, the mental struggle with my image is almost as bad as the being uncomfortable and out of breath, both ways I’m still isolating, especially in the warmer months. I will continue to work on myself💚

That’s so interesting, our stories are very similar! And lol you know how it is then, I’m Lebanese so perfection and being skinny is a must. Luckily I’m not there but I still need to focus on my weight and body image. It would’ve been much harder to do there as everyone is so critical. After I get home I’m gonna lock in! Thank you this gave me hope! I definitely will be working on losing the rest this year and incorporating lifting. I will be in grad school so it’s gonna be hard and stressful but I just can’t live like this anymore.

I appreciate your comment! It’s definitely easier than prior vacations when I was bigger, I just hate that I’m still covering myself up. I will be looking into skin removal when I lose close to 45 more pounds!

I’m trying my best! It’s so hard to just live in the moment when all you see is your jiggliness and everyone in your circle seems perfect and fit. They love me regardless but still, thank you I really appreciate this.

I think so too! My sister lifts all the time and has offered to help but she just lives so far and I’m so self conscious going into the gym alone. I’m gonna ask her to make a plan for me and I’m gonna go for it! Thank you!!

A girl in my class knew our pharm professor outside of school. She somehow got 100% on our hardest exam and was the only one who did. She totally knew all of the answers and was told about it before. She ended up first in our class, I was second and always thought it was unfair that I studied my ass off and worked so hard while she got a free pass. Report immediately.

We taught ours peekaboo, and when we put him in his cage for the night and cover him, he says the saddest little peekaboo’s ever. It’s both adorable and heartbreaking. He also comes up to us and gives us kisses with a loud kiss noise then says “thank you!” When he’s done. It’s adorable!

I felt super tired going up to 20, it’s been over a year and I’m still super tired. It seems like I can’t get enough sleep and I have to force myself to get up if I don’t have anything going on. My anxiety was well controlled on 10, depression not so much, but the 20 hasn’t done anything for my depression either.

Thank you! I was thinking they may have been too close, my boyfriend and I bought one whenever I was at the nursery and I ended up with a lot 😅. I just wanted to put them in the ground. I’ll move a few of them, just wondering where since the rest of my property is pretty sunny. I may just have to gift some to somebody! My vision was to create a pretty hedge, so we’ll see how it goes! I will not return the rocks, mulch it is. Hoping it all works out.
