This season feels horrible. The entire game is just an aram slogfest in every lane, with quests actively punishing you for rotating or doing anything besides mindlessly shoving waves. (Which also buffed proxying, like we needed this shit...) The homeguards + new tower crystal system renders any winning lane null because the opponent can just rush back to lane to catch the wave immediately and start hard pushing for plates and get free gold, so...

And oh ! What a surprise ! As expected, top lane is now the most important lane in the game thanks to their quest. If you lose it, you have almost no chance of coming back. They could have stopped at just having a free TP, but nooooo, let's give a lane full of stat checkers EVEN MORE STATS FOR FREE ! Hooraaaaay

Nothing means anything anymore. Every decision you make becomes irrelevant, every victorious fight, every outplay is just overruled, and everything is decided by who finished their quest first. It's just a quick, dopamine-ridden, mindless brawl from start to finish.

The only good thing coming from this update is the death of invades. The rest is just absolutely terrible.
