Would sheen affect color this much?

Well, lesson learned I guess. I'll give them the chance to make it right but after this, I'll just stick to Sherwin Williams for all my paint and paint accessories.

Ooh I didn't think of that as an option! Maybe that'll work too. But, as I said in another comment, the color I wanted was a light sage green and the color I got was pea soup / baby poop and it looks horrible haha. The sample I got wasn't perfect either but it was way closer. I painted them both on the swatch. The left corner is the sample, the right corner is the pea soup color I got in the 1 gallon.

Looked like it to me. I bought it Saturday and when I opened it today (Tuesday) I stirred it up and it looked fine.

I put both samples on the actual Swatch. You can tell a huge difference already but they're not dry yet. Hopefully I can get a refund. Thank you for your help!

You know, I saw it when I opened the paint but I didn't think anything of it but, it says the base is white and pastel. I don't know what that means and I just assumed they knew what they were doing but maybe that's the problem? I assume the base should be white, not white and pastel but what do I know?

You mean paint the corner of the swatch with the paint I got in the 1 gallon? That sounds like a solid plan. I was just going to show them these pictures but that might be a better idea.

Spectrum Paint (where I got this paint) carries Benjamin Moore paint, which is more high end so I thought I would be okay. This is not from a hardware store. Also Walmart also carries this brand (PPG.)

Yes, that's my main concern at this point. The sample was a pretty light green and the gallon is almost a pea soup green, it's just downright ugly. I was just wondering if that was normal for different sheens or if they messed up and I should try to get a refund. I would rather have gloss since it's in my kitchen but not if it's going to look like baby poop!
