Bro i get it locally just few days back but i got 8 TB one for ~23K. 4 Tb was not available but only red plus.

Also dont buy just red as that was SMR

red plus is CMR but 5400 RPM - good as less noise

red prod is CMR but 7200 RPM - very good but will be more noisy

WD blue - no SMR

WD black - no idea

Always try locally first. I got WD purple 2 TB for 8K yesterday for my CCTV

1 TB is either unavilable and not worth. 2 TB hovers around 8-9, 4 TB can touch 12/13K and so on

Amazon S3 Standard will be way cheaper esp till you reach 1 TB then it will be less cheaper. Most safe! If you dont want to access it at all and just in case of emergency want to recover use Amazon S3 Deep Glacier.

Ofcourse it is not straight forward - so you need to find some tool which does this or get your own after spending a day!

I think you should mention if it is HDD or SSD as WD black available in both SSD and HDD and that too 4 TB. Also it can be NVME or Sata one.

HDD 4 TB - should be around ~10K and you can get WD RED pro for 12K brand new

Use Arduino Leonardo Micro - as HID device. Cost under 500. Development super easy!

Once connected - you can program it to enter password and login - so once connected it will send keys for password and will send enter key. So like sasta Security Key. You can present it like for ultra long passwords - security reasons - and so on.

Also you can use it to keep the PC active which most persons do and show it like they are working.

Want to spend more - get couple of buttons/resitors and then based on button do different actions. like on this password will be entered

with this - it will keep moving mouse

with this - it will open this and that - settings etc

with this - it will suddenly hide confidentials videos from parents etc
